George R.R. Martin gives an update on 'The Winds of Winter. The final book of the Game of Thrones Series.

“I have to get back. I have to finish the books. That's the one thing I'm completely in control of. There's no budget limitations. There's no other executives on the studio side that I have to please, or other writers with different views. The books are what I'm going to make them. And, I think the one I'm writing is coming pretty well, but I wish it would come faster.”

In 2015 George RR Martin said he was wrapping up the Winds of Winter. That was 10 Years Ago.

Since then the Game Of Thrones TV series has wrapped up at HBO and we have received 2 Seasons of it’s Spin Off House of the Dragon, which is a pre-sequel of Game of Thrones.
