Saturday Night Live Celebrates 50 Years

In October 1975 Saturday Night Live Aired for the first time on NBC. The show was created by writer and producer Lorne Micheals. Over the course of four decades the show as made audiences laugh and feel some kinf of joy through comedy skits, musical performances, satirical news and comic shorts.

On Sunday February 16th 2025 new and old cast members and musical performances come together to celebrate 50 years of Saturday Night Live with a 50th SNL.

SNL Alumni featured in the special include the following..

• Will Ferrell

• Eddie Murphy

• Jack Nicolson

• Adam Sandler

• Martin Short

• Steve Martin

• Paul McCartney

• Amy Poehler

• Tina Fey

There were many more alumni featured as well. Along with featured cast members there were hilarious new skits that include jokes about recent events including Kendrick Lammar 's Super Bowl Halftime Show.
