"Unraveling the Web: The Future of The Silk Spider Society Television Series

The internet is raging as we receive another update added to the timeline of The Silk Spider Society Television Series.

On June 22, 2018 it was announced that Sony and Amy Pascal were working on a Silk film. However it was later confirmed by Variety that Silk will be a TV series.

On April 28th, 2021 Sony announced the series will premiere on Prime Video.

On November November 17, 2022 Deadline reported that the series was retitled Silk Spider Society. Along with Prime Video the series will release on MGM with Angela Kane as show runner.

The Silk Spider Society will be be refocused to a more male-skewing audience.

The Silk Spider Society is based on the Marvel Comics on Cindy Moon, who is the Spider-Hero Silk, bitten by the same radioactive spider that gave Peter Parker his abilities, Silk was secluded in a bunker for nearly a decade because of her amazing powers. She made her first appearance in the MCU in 2017’s Spider-Man Homecoming.
